"Ariana has helped me tremendously with getting back into shape after a yearlong hiatus from exercise during the pandemic. We've mainly been doing weight training with some additional cardio 2-3x times per week. Ariana always pays careful attention to my lifting form, ensuring that I learn how to lift safely while also improving my mobility. After just a few months of regular training, I have noticed that daily tasks, like carrying heavy groceries, are much easier given the functional strength and mobility I've gained. In my first training session, I couldn't even do one pushup -- now I can do 20+ throughout a session! Ariana worked with me to set goals and to create workouts that help me achieve those goals. "Over the course of roughly two years and 200+ hours, I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of training with Ariana. When I first started my fitness journey in the winter of 2017, I was woefully out of shape – the poster child of what’s wrong with the sedentary lifestyle fostered by Corporate America. I had the opportunity to take advantage a free personal training session through a wellbeing program offered by my company. I had no idea that when I stepped into the gym for that first session, that Ariana would have such a huge impact on my life. No doubt about it, I had A LOT of work to do and a long road ahead. "I'm amazed by how a quick 30 minute, relatively easy (on some days) workout just 3x a week changed my body both physically and in terms of energy. "First, my goal was to improve endurance and jumps, as I did ice skating at that time, and wanted to get additional help with the jumps. We focused on building the right core muscles, it was a priority for us. Then later we moved to more difficult exercises targeting leg muscles. After working with Ariana, not only my jump height increased, but I also began skating much faster, and my spins became more consistent. I remember, after three months of our sessions a few of my colleagues pointed out that my posture got improved. And of course, with the posture came more confidence. The second time I asked Ariana’s help was to help me recover after baby delivery and reduce my weight. Our sessions were a combination of core and various exercises on strength and endurance. We did many different sets over the session. Ariana was able to find the right intensity for me, so I wasn’t feeling too exhausted (even though I was very weak at that time). We defined our own routine, and her suggested combinations worked well for me. Ariana also helped me with a diet, teaching me how to make it more healthy. After two months of working with her, I lost 12 pounds and increased my strength significantly. I believe with the right approach every goal is achievable. And I’m grateful to Ariana for helping me achieve mine, and for making me much stronger and healthier."
